Paula Kelber was born into a family of painters and artists, allowing for an exposure to beautiful and interesting works of art at a very early age. Her work can best be described as a collection of subtle, personal scenes and moments that evoke simplicity, emotion and deep thought.

Paula originally started with water color and acrylics, which served as the catalyst to creating an original hand painted and designed note card company called Sundaze Cards. During this time, she also created a body of work on large canvas in acrylics featured at the Barn Star Home store, in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Still experimenting and searching for something more, Paula fulfilled her desire to work with oil on canvas. She progressed under the instruction of Tina Madonia, a Lehigh Valley fine artist, where she was exposed to the different applications of oil on canvas, and literally fell in love with the process of oil painting.

A signature mark of her work is her ability to strive to develop the mood and hidden detail of the subject at hand, whether it be the sunlight and shadow in a landscape, or the tilt of the head or bend of the neck in a portrait.

Paula is a member of ACE (Arts Community of Easton) and enjoys the interaction with fellow artists, who also provide her with the opportunity to exhibit some of her work at the Quadrant, in downtown Easton.

They say the best art comes from the heart. Paula’s work fully embodies that phrase. Please contact her directly regarding pricing for any select work, or future exhibit opportunities.
